Pam Altier is the Owner and Director of Stretch-n-Grow of Sarasota. Teaching healthy lifestyles since 1994, Pam is passionate about teaching children to find a balanced approach that promotes proper nutrition and daily exercise! A Certified Youth Fitness Instructor and educated in exercise for school-age children. Pam is also certified in Infant and Child CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross. Pam’s goal is to teach her Stretch-n-Grow “STARS” how to establish healthy habits at an early age that will last them a lifetime. She is able to accomplish this through her Stretch-n-Grow fitness program. Pam appreciates the opportunity to teach children the importance of fitness and good health
Every instructor is a certified Youth Fitness Specialist and is certified in CPR and first aid. All instructors meet the minimum standards for a caregiver as set forth by the state of Florida. Our comprehensive training program is rigorous and ongoing. Each instructor attends quarterly training camps to maintain the integrity of our program. Additionally, we provide liability insurance

Youth Fitness Guidelines
Our Youth Fitness Guidelines are in compliance with the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Our curriculum and exercise glossary are safe, effective and age-appropriate.
Stretch-n-Grow, the world’s largest network of children’s fitness professionals – originated in Galveston,Texas in 1992. after Jill and Bob Manly (the Founders), began to see the alarming rate of decreased health in young children. This sent them on a mission to change the course of children everywhere. Since then, Stretch-n-Grow has expanded to teach over 1 million children in over 40 states across the U.S. and in 11 countries around the world.
